From a House on a Hill, in London 2010, SCRT® started as a self-funded project, working with local artists. In the years since, the label has grown & developed into a narrative driven clothing line, collaborating with creatives from around the world.

SCRT® are still a close-knit team, working from our studio in Hackney, and flagship store on Shoreditch's Redchurch St.

The brand draws influences from subcultures past & present, with cut & sew collections focused on vintage inspired shapes, with function and everyday use in mind.

Informed by cult and contemporary film. Each piece draws from narrative, setting, and character to inform silhouette and detail. Developed in East London, Screen Test® blends storytelling with design, a commitment to experimentation in collaboration with independents and established studios.

A permanent collection of staple garments. Built with high-grade materials, refined fits, and reinforced construction. Referencing utilitarian archetypes and archival pieces, each item is designed from our East London studio to be seasonless and enduring. Blue Label® is the foundation of the SCRT® wardrobe.

Shop Blue Label®

Designed and built by us and a small team of friends, our London flagship store opened on Redchurch Street in December 2020.

We wanted to create a contemporary and relaxed space making use of natural materials with a utilitarian approach to spacing and design. The shop build consists of exposed brick walls, cork finish and wooden beam ceilings.

As an independent brand we believe in creating with conscience. Our growth as creatives is tied to the steps we take to become a more sustainable, responsible and community-led brand.

Our print wear is produced in the UK and Portugal. We work with skilful and responsible manufacturing partners whose operations are grounded in expertise and tradition. All our factories have been audited to ensure fair and safe working conditions, and are B-Corp Certified.

We are now incorporating locally sourced and upcycled fabrics. We have also improved our packaging, stopped using any plastic air sacs or plastic void fill and included the use of recycled materials. Every piece of SCRT clothing is designed by us in our studio in Hackney, with extensive and practical use in mind. We are committed to moving forward in a way that positively addresses local and global issues while retaining our core values and design ethos.
