To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of Léon: The Professional, we have revisited our previous capsule, with a selection of restocks, reworks, and new creations.
The new Léon capsule contains a new work-suit, scarf, as well as tees and hoods featuring illustrations from Izzie Hill and Max Guther.
Originally released worldwide in 1995, Léon tells the story of Léon (Jean Reno), a professional hitman, who reluctantly helps 12 year old Mathilda (Natalie Portman), after her family is murdered by crooked DEA Agent Stansfield (Gary Oldman). Together Léon and Mathilda form an unusual relationship, teaching each other as protégée and emotional caregiver.
Focussing on the development of Léon & Mathilda’s relationship, the work-suit uses key scenes that demonstrate this transition, while also recalling phrases that echo some of the film’s most meaningful lessons.
Meanwhile, print-wear centres around totemic objects, scenic transitions, and core phrases: I’ve had better days.
