SCRT has always been fascinated by exploring ideas presented in cult films, counter culture and any strange corner of media.
As we draw closer to our 10th anniversary, we continue our search, exploring themes of isolation, fate, technology, death, and data in our first-ever concept collection,
Left Behind.
Left Behind’s capsules draw reference from Marshall McLuhan’s 1967 essay The Medium is the Massage, Scorcese’s 1976 film, Taxi Driver, and the medieval allegory of the Danse Macabre.
By exploring and using different creative approaches, Left Behind aims to present a balanced view of questions and answers from past and present. Threading together its references, Left Behind presents our most varied collection yet, linking both its Cut & Sew and printwear pieces together cohesively.
This season, we welcome back long-standing SCRT artists and friends, Brandon Celi, Izzie Hill, and Bo Matteini. New artist Katya Rogers makes her debut for the brand, bringing her free-flowing style of ink drawings.
Further artist collaborations will drop throughout the season; subscribe to the mailing list to be the first to know.
