Type-1 Poplin Shirt

The Type-1 Poplin Shirt is made from crisp cotton poplin and takes its construction from the classic Type-1 denim jacket, reinterpreting an American workwear icon through a lightweight shirting fabric.

The familiar silhouette is distorted through the change of fabric and colour, referencing the blurred line between fantasy and reality throughout Mulholland Drive and the AW26 Collection; No Hay Banda. The front features knife pleats inspired by the signature pleated construction of Type-1 jackets, finished with oversized mother-of-pearl buttons. A back pleat is drawn into a waistband to further reference the structured construction of the original jacket. The shirt is finished with a raw-edge embroidered poplin patch applied to the rear waistband, mimicking the leather patches traditionally found on Type-1 jackets.
